L.I. POOLS / PRIVACY POLICY
Privacy Policy
Clear information about how we handle your information and how to contact us about your choices.
Last Updated: · Version 2026-09-v2
Scope
This policy describes how L.I. Pools collects, uses, retains, discloses and otherwise processes personal information through its public websites, service requests, customer communications, transactions and related business activities in the United States. L.I. Pools is a national U.S. brand; availability of particular services depends on location and coverage.
This policy does not mean that every service, technology or privacy law described applies to every person or transaction. Additional notices may apply to particular activities or jurisdictions.
Information we collect
The Request Service form collects first and last name, telephone number, email address, service/property address, address line 2 if supplied, city, state, ZIP, pool type, sanitation type, requested service, your description of the issue, preferred contact method and optional timing. We also record whether you chose promotional calls/texts, the disclosure versions shown, and submission/choice timestamps. You may select “Don’t Know” for pool details. Please do not submit payment credentials or other unnecessary sensitive information.
In the course of actual business dealings, we may keep communications, estimates, proposals, work orders, service history and transaction or payment-administration records where applicable. These records need not be collected by this public website. The current public form does not take payments, create customer accounts or accept photo/document uploads. Photos or documents you provide separately may form part of your service records; any future upload feature will have appropriate disclosures.
The public request function uses a temporary security cookie and an IP-derived keyed value for throttling; the raw IP address is processed to create that value and is not stored in the private request by this plugin. Hosting and infrastructure may process network addresses, browser/device details, access times, requested pages and security logs according to their configuration. The public theme itself does not add advertising pixels or analytics trackers.
Sources of information
Sources include information you provide, your website and service-request interactions, communications with our team, service transactions, authorized service providers and legitimate business records. We may also receive information from a person authorized to act for you or other lawful sources relevant to your request. Please provide another person’s information only when authorized.
How information is used
We use information to respond to requests, determine coverage, clarify pool conditions, prepare estimates, schedule or reschedule, perform services, support customers, communicate updates, maintain service history, and administer business relationships, billing and records. Account administration applies only where an account or business relationship actually exists; the public request form does not create a portal account.
Other purposes include fraud and security prevention, protecting customers and the business, legal/regulatory compliance, tax/accounting and insurance records, resolving disputes, improving services, internal operations, enforcing agreements and protecting lawful rights. Marketing is handled separately and only where permitted and with appropriate consent.
Service and promotional communications
Submitting a service request authorizes reasonably necessary contact about that request and its administration, including clarification, estimates, scheduling, service updates and an existing customer relationship, by telephone, text or email as appropriate. We take your preferred contact method into account. A request does not provide unlimited promotional consent.
The separate optional checkbox records your choice about promotional calls and texts from L.I. Pools at the number provided. It is not required to request or purchase service and is not bundled with website terms, privacy information or transactional contact. The current website does not send promotional campaigns or provide an automated SMS opt-out system.
The calls/texts checkbox does not enroll you in marketing email. Any marketing email program must identify the sender accurately, use nondeceptive subjects, identify advertising when required, include a valid postal address and a working unsubscribe method, and honor opt-outs.
Communications preferences and withdrawal
You can withdraw promotional consent or request no promotional calls, texts or emails by emailing sales@li-pools.com or calling 833-LIPOOL5 (833-547-6655). Tell us which contact detail and channel you want suppressed; no purchase or account is required to ask. We will address preferences under applicable law.
For messages sent through a reply-capable SMS system, reply STOP or use another reasonable opt-out method offered by that system. We do not represent that this website automatically processes STOP. Use the unsubscribe mechanism included in marketing emails, where a program is in use, or contact us directly.
A promotional opt-out is separate from communications reasonably necessary for an active inquiry, appointment, transaction, service relationship or legally required notice. It does not retroactively make previously lawful communications unlawful. We will not use a “service” label to evade applicable consent or revocation requirements; tell us if you want us to stop contacting you about a request altogether.
Artificial Intelligence and LIsa
L.I. Pools provides LIsa™, the Luxury Investments Service Assistant, as an AI-powered virtual assistant. LIsa is not a human. Public generative AI is currently turned off while L.I. Pools completes its production-readiness process. The frozen, approved Stage 1 production configuration uses LIsa RC2.47 with Groq’s openai/gpt-oss-20b model. When the approved AI functionality is activated and a customer uses it, portions of the customer’s conversation may be processed through Groq as L.I. Pools’ third-party AI inference provider. This does not mean Groq is currently receiving public customer conversations while public generative AI remains off.
Zero Data Retention is currently enabled for Groq Inference API requests in the verified production configuration. This statement is limited to the verified Groq Inference API configuration and is not a broader promise regarding unrelated Groq products, services, features or settings. It does not mean that no third party may process LIsa messages when the AI functionality is used, that conversations can never be retained anywhere, or that absolute confidentiality or security can be guaranteed.
Do not submit passwords, payment-card information, government identification numbers, account credentials, sensitive medical information, or other unnecessary sensitive personal information through LIsa.
LIsa can make mistakes and is not a substitute for a qualified professional. A LIsa conversation does not by itself create a confirmed service request, appointment, dispatch, price, warranty decision, diagnosis, or repair authorization. Use the designated Request Service process for information required to request pool service.
Service providers and other disclosures
Information may be disclosed as reasonably necessary to hosting/infrastructure and email-delivery providers, telecommunications providers, payment processors used for actual transactions, scheduling/business software providers, IT/security professionals, insurers and professional advisers. Provider access should be limited to the relevant purpose and subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.
We may also disclose relevant information to meet applicable law, respond to valid legal process, protect people or property, investigate fraud or misuse, enforce agreements, or cooperate with appropriate governmental or regulatory authorities. A business reorganization may require transfer of relevant records subject to applicable protections and notice obligations.
The supplied public theme and request plugin contain no advertising or data-broker integration and do not themselves transmit request data for sale or cross-context advertising. This is not a claim that all separate business tools have been audited or that all provider processing is legally a sale or sharing. Any activity that triggers additional notices or opt-out rights must be assessed and disclosed before it is introduced.
Retention
We retain information only as reasonably necessary for the purposes described, including providing services, customer/business records, disputes, fraud prevention, agreements, and applicable tax, accounting, insurance and legal obligations. Relevant records may need preservation for a claim or legal hold.
No universal fixed retention period has been adopted in this policy. Retention depends on record type, the relationship and applicable requirements. The public request plugin does not automatically delete customer inquiries; authorized staff must review retention and deletion, including backup handling. Limited suppression records may be retained to honor communication preferences.
Security safeguards
L.I. Pools uses reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, acquisition, use, alteration, disclosure or destruction. The public request implementation includes HTTPS, private records, restricted administration and input/security checks. Operational safeguards require continuing management.
No website, transmission method, storage system, network or security measure can be guaranteed completely secure. Absolute security cannot be guaranteed. This statement does not waive statutory duties, legally required incident notices or rights and remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Unauthorized conduct and identity theft
L.I. Pools does not authorize, condone, permit, encourage or tolerate identity theft, theft or misuse of personal information, employee or contractor misuse, fraudulent transactions, unlawful disclosure, unauthorized or malicious system access, or other illegal activity.
Suspected unlawful conduct may be investigated and relevant records preserved. As permitted or required by applicable law, we may cooperate with appropriate federal, state or local law-enforcement agencies, regulators, financial institutions, service providers, insurers, cybersecurity professionals, attorneys or other appropriate authorities. We reserve available lawful rights and remedies; we do not promise prosecution or determine that every mistake is unlawful.
Security incidents
If a suspected incident occurs, we may investigate, take reasonable containment and remediation measures, preserve records, engage appropriate professionals and cooperate with authorities. Incident response and legally required notifications will be handled in accordance with applicable federal, state and local law. No provision here removes a non-waivable consumer right or breach-notification obligation.
U.S. State Privacy Rights
Depending on where you reside and the law applicable to L.I. Pools, you may have rights to know/access information, obtain a portable copy, request correction or deletion, restrict certain processing or use of sensitive information, opt out of certain sale/sharing or targeted-advertising activities, and appeal certain request decisions. Applicable law may also protect against discrimination for exercising privacy rights. These rights and business obligations vary and are not represented as universally applicable.
Submit a privacy request or question to sales@li-pools.com or 833-LIPOOL5 (833-547-6655). Explain the request and your state of residence if relevant. We may request proportionate identity or authorized-agent verification where permitted and needed; do not send identity documents or sensitive identifiers unless we arrange an appropriate method. We will not demand verification for an opt-out where applicable law prohibits it.
We will evaluate requests, applicable exceptions and any appeal rights under the law that applies. If you disagree with a decision, contact us to request review or an applicable appeal; you may also contact an appropriate regulator. Jurisdiction-specific notices can supplement this section when relevant business activities or legal applicability are established. No nonfunctional sale/share opt-out button is presented as a substitute for a required process.
Children
This public service-request website is intended for adults seeking pool or property services and is not intentionally directed to children. We do not knowingly solicit personal information from children contrary to applicable law. If you believe a child provided information inappropriately, contact us so we can assess and respond.
Policy changes
We may update this policy prospectively and change the Last Updated date when material changes are made. We will provide additional notice or seek affirmative consent where applicable law requires it. Posting an updated policy does not retroactively create consent for a new purpose.
